Parking rules

General provisions

1.1. These rules (hereinafter – the Rules) of K. Gecas Trading Company, legal entity code 152621575, registered address Birutės al. 60, Palanga, regulate the procedure for vehicle parking services, the rules for using parking lots, the processing of the User's personal data, payment methods, and liability.

1.3. The Parking Lots – private, enclosed parking lots owned by the Company, located at Birutės al. 47, Birutės al. 60, and Birutės al. 52, Palanga, with access restricted by automatic barriers (hereinafter – the Parking Lot).

1.4. User – a customer of the Company (a natural person) who has accepted these Rules and is using the Company's parking services.

1.5. Services – vehicle parking services provided by the Company in the Parking Lots.

1.6. Website – the Company's website at www.palangahotel.lt.

 

Rules for using the parking lots

2.1. These Rules apply to all Users arriving at the parking lot. Parking spaces are not reserved in advance. If there are no available spaces upon arrival, the Company is not obligated to provide a parking space.

2.2. The vehicle’s license plate must be clean for entry/exit from the Parking Lot.

2.3. To enter the Parking Lot, follow these steps:

  • Stop the vehicle at the entrance barrier;
  • Wait for the camera to scan the vehicle's license plate and for the barrier to lift;
  • Once the barrier is raised, drive into the Parking Lot and park in any available space, unless signage prohibits parking in a specific area.

2.4. Entry to the Parking Lots is available to all visitors without prior payment. Payment is calculated and made when the vehicle exits the Parking Lot.

2.5. Parking fees are calculated from the moment of entry in 30-minute increments. The hourly rate is set by the Company's administration.

2.6. Clients staying overnight at the "Palanga Life Balance SPA" hotel (hereinafter – the Hotel) may be subject to different rates, which are specified in the Hotel booking confirmation. These rates apply only if the guest informs the hotel reception of their use of the parking lot and provides their vehicle's license plate number upon check-in.

2.7. To exit the Parking Lot, follow these steps:

  • Stop the vehicle at the exit barrier;
  • Wait for the camera to scan the license plate;
  • After scanning, the display will show whether payment is required and the amount due;
  • If payment is required, it can be made immediately at the barrier, or after moving the vehicle away from the barrier via SMS to 1398, by scanning the QR code on the information board, or at the Hotel reception;
  • Guests of the "Palanga Life Balance SPA" hotel can pay for parking upon check-in or check-out;
  • After payment, the vehicle must exit the parking lot within 15 minutes;
  • Once the barrier is raised, exit the Parking Lot.

2.8. If the vehicle belongs to a Hotel guest who provided their license plate number upon check-in and has already paid for parking, they can drive to the exit, and the barrier will automatically open. Hotel guests must leave the parking lot by 2:00 PM on their check-out day. After 2:00 PM, the system will start charging the regular hourly parking rate, which must be paid according to the current rates via SMS, QR code, or at the Hotel reception.

2.9. Vehicles must be parked following the parking lot markings and traffic regulations.

2.10. It is strictly prohibited to park in reserved spaces or on green areas. A penalty fee may apply for unauthorized parking.

2.11. The User is responsible for any damage to the property in the Parking Lot and must compensate for any losses caused by negligence or intent.

2.12. In case of equipment failure or other issues, the User should contact support at +370 460 41414.

2.13. The Company does not assume responsibility for the security of the User’s vehicle or any belongings inside. Additionally, the Company does not guarantee any special surveillance measures (technical, physical, or other) for Users or their property.

2.14. If the User violates these Rules, the Company has the right to demand compensation for any resulting losses.

 

Payment terms

3.1. The vehicle owner is responsible for ensuring payment for the Services.

3.2. Payments can be made using the following methods:

  • If staying at the "Palanga Life Balance SPA" hotel, payment can be made at check-in or check-out by providing the vehicle's license plate number to the hotel reception;
  • Via SMS to 1398 in the format: PLNXY ABC123, where XY is the amount in EUR (from 1 to 10 EUR) and ABC123 is the vehicle license plate number. If the amount exceeds 10 EUR, payment must be made in multiple transactions;
  • By scanning the QR code on the information board and entering the requested details on the website.

 

Personal data processing provisions

4.1. By accepting these Rules, the User consents to the processing of their personal data for the administration and execution of the Company's Services (on the basis of contract conclusion and execution) as well as for other related purposes listed below. The processed personal data include:

  • Vehicle license plate numbers;
  • Photos of vehicle license plates captured by entry systems;
  • Audio recordings of phone conversations with Company reception staff;
  • Video surveillance data from the Parking Lot.
