General Provisions
1.1. These Purchase-Sale Rules (hereinafter – the Rules) are a legally binding document that establishes the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the person purchasing goods and services (hereinafter – the Buyer) and the seller K. Geco Trading Company (hereinafter – the Seller) when purchasing goods and services (hereinafter – Goods) from the Seller's online store www.palangahotel.lt (hereinafter – E-store).
1.2. By placing an order with the Seller, the Buyer must familiarize themselves with these Rules and confirms having done so by providing the necessary data to conclude the purchase-sale contract and for order delivery. By ordering goods from the E-store, the Buyer agrees to these Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
1.3. www.palangahotel.lt is a website where goods and services are sold and administered by the Seller, a legal entity K. Geco Trading Company, legal entity code 152621575, VAT payer code LT526215716, registered office address Birutės al. 60, Palanga LT-00135.
1.4. The purchase-sale contract between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded from the moment the Buyer places an order in the E-store, provides the necessary data for the purchase-sale contract and order delivery, and clicks the "Buy" link.
Purchase and Shipping of Goods
2.1. The Seller has the right to change the prices of the Goods in the E-store at any time.
2.2. Prices in the E-store include VAT.
2.3. The price of the Goods includes delivery costs when shipping via DPD Pickup terminals. The price that the Buyer undertakes to pay is the price indicated in the Buyer's shopping cart at the time of order placement.
2.4. The purchase of Goods is made by paying the full price of the Goods before dispatch.
2.5. Payment for Goods and/or Services purchased in the E-store can be made as follows:
2.5.1. via online banking through the "Paysera" system, to which the Buyer is redirected directly.
2.6. Ordered Goods are delivered via DPD Pickup, with the Buyer specifying the address or chosen DPD Pickup terminal in the order notes. Delivery time is 2-5 business days.
2.7. At the Buyer's request, the Seller may send the Goods via courier service or another preferred parcel terminal for an additional fee. International shipping is arranged individually.
Returns, Exchanges, and Termination of Distance Contracts
3.1. The return/exchange of quality Goods is carried out in accordance with retail trade rules, approved by the Government of the Republic of Lithuania on 2001-06-11 by Resolution No. 697, and in accordance with Articles 6.22810 and 6.22811 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
3.2. The Buyer has the right to return the Goods to the Seller and receive a refund within 14 days from the date of receipt (right to withdraw from the contract), except for the following cases:
3.2.1. Perfumes, cosmetics, and toiletry products (Combined Nomenclature codes 3303–3307) (including but not limited to perfumes, toilet waters, makeup products, skin care products, tanning and self-tanning products, manicure and pedicure products, hair care products, oral hygiene products, shaving products, body deodorants, bath products, depilatory products).
3.3. Cosmetic products purchased from the E-store can be returned within 14 days under the following conditions:
3.3.1. The returned item must be in its original, intact packaging without damage to safety seals.
3.3.2. The item must be undamaged (not scratched, broken, or otherwise mechanically damaged by the Buyer).
3.3.3. The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original condition (labels intact, protective film unremoved, etc.).
3.3.4. The item must be returned in the same set as received.
3.3.5. A purchase document (receipt, invoice, bank statement, or payment order) must be provided.
3.5. If an item’s expiration date has passed at the time of delivery, the Seller undertakes to replace it with an identical suitable product or refund the Buyer.
3.6. The consumer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason, except for exceptions outlined in Article 6.22810(2) of the Civil Code:
3.6.1. The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for accommodation, transport of goods, car rental, catering, or leisure services if the contract specifies a specific date or period of service provision.
3.7. To withdraw from the contract or exchange an item, the Buyer must notify the Seller via email info@palangahotel.lt or phone +370 460 41411, stating the name of the returned/exchanged Goods and/or Services and the order number.
3.8. To meet the withdrawal/exchange deadline, the Buyer must notify the Seller before the expiration of the 14-day period.
3.9. Upon withdrawal from the contract, all payments, including delivery costs, will be refunded within 14 days. Refunds will be made using the same payment method the Buyer used. The Seller reserves the right to withhold refunds until the returned Goods are received or until the Buyer provides proof of dispatch.
Buyer's Rights and Obligations
4.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase Goods in the E-store according to these Rules.
4.2. The details of each item sold in the E-store are provided in its description.
4.3. The Buyer must accept and pay for the ordered Goods.
4.4. In case of discrepancies in received Goods, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller via email at info@palangahotel.lt or phone +370 460 41411.
4.5. The Buyer may refuse to accept only defective or non-compliant Goods.
4.6. The Buyer must check the quality of Goods upon delivery. If the Buyer accepts the Goods without noting defects, they are considered to meet the order’s requirements.
Liability of Buyer and Seller
5.1. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of personal data. The Seller is not liable for issues arising from incorrect data and may seek compensation for direct damages.
5.2. The Buyer is responsible for actions performed using the E-store.
5.3. The Seller and Buyer compensate each other only for direct losses caused by their fault. Compensation is limited to the order value.
5.4. The Seller is not responsible for disruptions in the E-store due to failures in third-party systems or services.
Final Provisions
6.1. The Seller reserves the right to modify the Rules at any time. The latest version is effective from the date of publication in the E-store.
6.2. The laws of the Republic of Lithuania apply to the Buyer-Seller relationship.
6.3. Disputes are resolved through negotiations or in Lithuanian courts.
6.4. Complaints can be submitted via the online dispute resolution platform http://ec.europa.eu/odr/.
